It's puppy time!

So Isa is in heat and almost 3 years old and we contracted with her breeder to breed her at least once.  So sometime this week we will be breeding her and in a couple of months we will have puppies!  The kids are excited about it, and we get to keep one of the puppies (to give away sell or whatever we choose to do with it).  I am most happy because Isa is so full of working energy that having puppies will give her something to keep her busy for WEEKS LOL. 

I am excited because I think we are about to get a handle on my illness and find some good treatment options so that I will hopefully be back to some semblance of a normal life and the first thing I am going to put back is in my dog training and hopefully showing.  I love my Aussies and i think I will never find a better breed to be a companion.  I am really excited about getting to go back to work with Isa and the kids want to get involved to.  Dogs are wonderful companions and teaching the kids about dogs now will only ensure they have wonderful future canine companions that they train themselves.

So off to tidy up the house and get ready for my Doctor appt this evening...
